Town and County Meetings

Town Board meets the 3rd Monday of each month at 6 p.m. (October through April), or 7 p.m. (May through September), at Town Hall
The Madison County Board of Commissioners meets on the second Monday of each month in the Madison County Courthouse and at other times designated by the Board and notified to the public. All meetings are open to the public, and the minutes of meetings are open to public inspection.

Getting a Business license

Both a Marshall Business License and county Privilege License are required in order to open a business in Marshall:

Marshall Business license in Word format (if you do not have Microsoft word, this document can be downloaded and printed at any Madison County Library or picked up at the Marshall Town Office, 45 N Main Street)
Madison County Privelege license can be obtained by contacting the Madison County Tax Collectors Office (828) 649-3402
